Summary
I have to say this has to be one of my best pairings. I have always enjoyed rum but more in the cocktail sense. Taking the time to sip it neat you really do find all the subtle island nuances you miss when it is mixed with tons of sugar and fruit juice. I will definitely be doing more rum pairings in the future. Flor de Cana is most assuredly one of the best rums I have ever tasted. I will have to experiment with their older agings. This episode I was still in my production infancy so the sound quality was not that great. But it does give good benchmarks to see the improvements you make along the way. I hope you enjoy, cheers!
