Summary
Today’s pairing is partially due to the sudden shortage we seem to have in lots of different products. I was going a different direction with the spirit for today’s episode but then find out that it is backordered for a week or more so I had to do some digging and come up with a suitable alternative. Well…..I managed to do it! I came out with Balcones Tru Blue 100 Straight Corn Whisky and it was a winner. The Tru Blue is made from a mash bill of 100% roasted blue corn and is 100 proof. It was a great match for the Pepin Blue Label. I really enjoyed this pairing and I hope you do too.
